Sylvan Farms is located in Mercersburg in Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Betty, with the help of her daughter and grandson, Cameron, grow fruit and vegetables on the  family farm going back five generations. Sylvan Farms has been selling produce and baked goods at markets since 1981. Due to problems with weather and deer on the farm, Betty has shifted to more baked goods in recent years. All baked goods are made from scratch. Fruit from the farm goes into jellies, jams, fruit butters and baked goods. In addition to
cakes, pies and all kinds of cookies, Betty makes noodles and dried apples.
